So on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 I took part in an independant film known as “Hitting the Nuts.” It’s a comedy about a redneck sort of town, kinda reminds me of the people in joe dirt, playing poker. When a poker player “hits the nuts” it means he is holding the best hand possible in that given scenario – That he is a sure winner. This story only pretends to be about poker. It’s really about an outrageous group of blue-blooded American misfits who have spent a lot less time hitting the nuts in life…and a lot more time being hit in the nuts by life. So I was in a poker tournament scene with the main character, Dirty Rivers (Matthew Donnely), where he busts me and this girl out. Her and I go all in I got pocket aces and the chick has 2 queens and there is an ace and the 10, jack, and queen of diamonds. Dirty throws down his king and ace of diamonds and makes fun of us. And this guy is an improv comedian so he was really funny and I worked with him all day and it was great! I’m very high on life right now.
