I am an 18 year old student of Information Technology at Northern Kentucky University living at home in Cincinnati, OH. I dabble in web design (I designed this site), programming, graphic design, hardware, server administration, and video games.
I got started on PC gaming way back playing Age of Emires II with Ape. After about a year or so of playing that, we both got hooked on Diablo II and later on Diablo II: The Lord of Destruction. We probably played that for about two years before returning to Age of Empires II for a little while before the MSN Gaming Zone shut it down.
It was shortly before the shutdown of AoE on Zone that I had built my first gaming computer. From there, I played Warcraft III for a while until I got wind of a free shooter called “F.E.A.R.”. The game was pretty awesome, and after playing it for about a month I was invited to join HB (Hell’s Brigade)–where I met FKINGLAG, AIDS, and Breaker. HB eventually split due to infighting. I stuck with them for a while after that, old leaders/moderators were slowly leaving, and I wasn’t sure what to do with the clan. I eventually decided to merge with SiN (Strength in Numbers).
Things were good in SiN for a while, we set our sights on competing with myself and another member responsible for training the group. However, a few people playing politics introduced infighting into the upper levels that ended up with me being kicked from the clan (over what I now think was a misunderstanding). After declining an opportunity to rejoin, I figured that since I had already been hanging out a little bit with Noobina and a few others in the TH (Techna’s House) server and thought they were a pretty cool bunch, I would join TH.
A little while after joining TH, my gaming computer failed on me. Being in high school, I didn’t have the money to replace it right away so I started saving for a new computer. During the time between that failure and my new computer (the one I have now) I spent a lot of time learning how to design websites (an interest sparked in part by Vashy from HB, and Techna from TH), and picking up some basic programming skills. TH suddenly died off due to infighting, and CMS (Constant Mayhem Society–but you didn’t need me to tell you that, right?) was formed by ex-TH members Finedragon (whom I had known since SiN) and Noobina. I joined CMS soon after I’d got wind of its existence (which is what the majority of ex-TH members did too).
Here in CMS, I keep the website running, and am responsible for the (recently launched) quite awesome template running on the main site. I play Call of Duty 4 (a lot less than I used to), Left 4 Dead 2, and I am looking forward to Diablo III and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
